We Measure Success With Smiles

Welcome! Calgary Therapeutic Riding Association (CTRA, formerly 4:13) is a community grounded in connection, compassion and the gentle strength of our horses. Our stable is a second home where children and adults of all abilities discover the joy of riding, learning and growing together.

We're a registered charity, and our CANTRA-certified instructors and our volunteers provide a safe, compassionate, and fun environment where all our participants can flourish. 

Find us at Marit Stables, just 10 minutes North of Cochrane on Highway 22.

My son was having some difficult times and was not able to communicate that to us. After spending a short time with the horses, he was able to tell us he was happy to be there. We have been back many times as he continues to grow and learn.
